Construction Observation
Inspections on stormwater improvements projects - Our Specialty!
Are your Public Works or Stormwater inspectors overwhelmed with a number of projects they have to visit daily? And it feels like it will never end!
New construction projects are coming in, while your bucket is pretty full as it is with the ongoing ones. Who has time to visit projects after closing them out to confirm everything is still intact?
We offer an excellent inspection service for local governments based on professional attitude and open communication. We will help you with very specific inspections on these stormwater improvement projects in both development or capital improvements.
Over the years, we developed a very effective, fast, communicative way for our construction inspections. We will keep you in the loop and you will have one less headache to worry about.

Development Review
Referral review and plan review
Is development in your community getting out of control? We know, it’s a good sign for Colorado! We can assist you with a referral and plan review process related to stormwater improvements. Many years of work with developers thought us that many times they are listening and want to bring people truly high-quality products in all areas: architecture, infrastructure, landscaping and often forgotten by many, tiny little stream running between those homes they are building.
Many times, it was a true pleasure to watch a project like that grow from an abandoned ditch and flower into a beautiful and inviting stream, with preserved areas, cottonwoods and wetlands, and also areas where kids could access easily and play. Kudos for that!
As a local government representative, you have the power to whisper into a listening ear of a developer and truly help him with the best choice to make all of our streams and rivers safe, beautiful, flourishing with life, green and friendly in every possible way. How can you do that? During this first contact with the developer who is reaching out to you and sending you his referral for review. We can assist you with that referral review.
Floodplain Management
Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM)
As a Certified Floodplain Manager, we can offer assistance with your floodplain management issues.
Floodplain management is very important in today's world. More homes are built every day and although we’re all doing a better job of staying out of the floodplain, there are still many homes and buildings at risk. It is better to alleviate the risk than having to deal with it.
Do you work at a local government and seek help with your Community Rating System (CRS)? If so, our involvement with a local chapter of the Colorado Association of Stormwater and Floodplain Managers (CASFM) CRS Committee gives us a unique knowledge of this amazing program.
Why amazing you ask? Because it is an incentive discount program offered by FEMA to the homeowners who live in a floodplain and have floodplain insurance. Does the homeowner have to do anything to get the discount? NO!
The caring community in the CRS program is doing an excellent job of sound floodplain management above and beyond minimum FEMA requirements. You can tell we are the true believers in this program.
In 2016 the CRS community policyholders nationwide received over $355 million in policy discounts due to their communities’ actions to mitigate flood losses. You can find more information here: FEMA CRS Program.
